Have you ever noticed how much you apologize? Is it all warranted or has it become a habit of speech?
I recently attended a conference called Feminine Money Mastery with my current mentor Kendall Summerhawk. Wow oh wow… it set me on fire! One theme that kept coming up throughout the conference is owning your ambition.
Many women feel the need to hide or apologize for being magnificent, smart and beautiful. Kendall invited us instead to own our ambition.
Own your passions. Own your gifts. Own your body. Own your wealth.
Stop apologizing for them, selling yourself short or staying stuck in an old story of past mistakes.
None of that serves you. It imprisons you. You are here to live richly. You are divinely meant to thrive.
It starts by noticing how much of your language on a daily basis is filled with apologies.

Yes, there are times when an apology is needed. But more often, it’s become a habit. We are over-apologizing. We are leading with the apology instead of our confident selves who knows she deserves to be heard, stand up tall in her body, and contribute her gifts in valuable ways.
MY INVITATION TO YOU:
Take note of your language this week.
Notice how many times you apologize in daily life. Ask yourself why. Is it habit? Has it become your default?
If you came from an empowered place inside yourself, what could you say instead?
Every time you apologize when it’s not needed, you diminish your spirit.
You give evidence to the little girl inside who thinks she’s not good enough and doesn’t belong.
Enough I say. She does belong. She is MORE than enough.
Stop apologizing for her being alive and brilliant.
