Today I greet the morning sun. Welcome my friend. She is my companion on this journey. I awaken to her brilliance, a reflection of my own. Our time together is sacred.
We Begin
Welcome! This is Day 1 of the AM Bliss Journey — 30 days of morning rituals that centre, inspire and prepare us for a happy flowing day. If you haven’t already, take time to define the rituals that will form your morning routine. Choose what feels nourishing and blissful as opposed to what you think you should do. And I’d suggest you only pick a few activities to start. You can always add or modify as you go. Write them down, so you can see them in visible form.
My Morning Ritual
I went to bed early yesterday so that I’d start this journey refreshed. Little did I know the call of inspiration would wake me at 3:00 am. It gave me plenty of time to think about how I want to shape my AM Bliss for the next month. Each morning I will partake in at least three of the following activities:
- Take vitamins/medication with water; say wellness affirmations
- Write (journal + set powerful intention for the day)
- Exercise (gentle stretches or more vigorous exercise depending on my body)
- Sit in quiet meditation or listen to inspiring music
- Enjoy Greens+ or green smoothie
- Make a list of my top 3 priorities for today
- Express gratitude
My goal is to be highly intentional but also to follow the flow of inspiration each morning. That is why I say I’ll pick at least three of the activities. At a minimum, each day will have some writing, some movement and some inspired quiet time. Just talking about it feels juicy!
