So today’s creating space isn’t the most profound or exciting, but oh so necessary. We noticed it on the weekend when we were preparing dinner. An old frying pan whose teflon coating had long abandoned it. Yet lo and behold, it found its way back into our cupboard.
When I saw it today, I thought, I’m not going to talk about this (again) in a week, noticing (again) that we should throw it out. What a waste of valuable life energy. Do it now!
DONE.
What do you keep talking about but don’t do?
I have a few things… Yes, they know who they are! Like the frying pan that doesn’t serve me well anymore, talking about what we’re going to do (and gathering reasons for why we didn’t do it) often takes more energy than simply doing it. Yes?
Let’s make a commitment to getting those simple things done. Hand in hand, one by one. With ease, flow and fun! In fact, I’m going to book time for two of them in my schedule right now. Join me?
We did that with a pair of shoes this morning. Gone! Finally!
YAY! How freeing!
