You can choose to soar or you can choose to watch those who soar. One isn’t more right or honourable… just a choice with a different view.
The only times in my life when I’ve felt envy over another person’s success is when I’ve not been soaring myself. When I’m flying high with my own passions — on top of my game — I never feel envy or jealousy. I feel the excitement of someone else’s success, get clarity on what I desire for myself, and then ride that inspiration forward. It is fuel for my journey.
Soaring (like success) looks different to each of us. Your clue is the feeling inside — that exhilarating feeling that reminds you that you are alive, creative and free.
Today, I realize how everything I am doing is preparing me to soar — everything from my AM Bliss journey to my business building to my songwriting sessions to my heartfelt connections with other brilliant entrepreneurs. In fact, I’m standing on tiptoes.
I could admire from the ground. But why? The more I tune into that sage voice, the more I realize that not soaring is not an option.
